RAW & REAL HBO series "Girls" by Lena Dunham

Intro
For those of you who are not familiar with this series called "Girls" it's a comedy-drama American television series, created by and starring Lena Dunham premiered on HBO.
It's about the lives of a group of 4 female friends in their twenties living in the wonderful city New York. The series is more more focused on the life of the main character, which is Lena herself & her real life experiences.
Synopsis
Hannah (Lena) who's a writer in the series finds out that her parents won't be supporting her financially any longer. Her life after that huge news is filled with mistakes she makes along the way.

Opinion
I really enjoy this series. As you can see from the comments above that I stumbled upon, clearly everyone has different thoughts on this series.

I honestly like this series as it's so "raw" & real. I'm not saying this only because of the naked scenes, especially because it shows that she, Hannah embraces her body and also not because of how she fails. It's "raw" because It shows life. They don't hide things, they don't make things less painful. For me it's an eye opener of what can be out there and what can happen. You won't get that in most movies as nothing is completely real ( I'm not saying that everything is real in Girls). So it's not about the negative things she goes through, it's about how she handles certain situations, which some are clearly a lesson that shows the audience how they shouldn't handle things.
How many times don't we watch a movie and can predict what is going to happen? This is a series ( I am aware of that) so the ending isn't close yet as the fifth season has yet to come.  What I like about it is how you get to see how her decisions keeps flowing in her life. You keep seeing the consequences. The good side and the bad side of the decisions she makes.

It's truly your decision, but why watch it if it's creepy and uncomfortable?

And most importantly, even though all of those shitty things happened to her she still tries to remain happy and be with her friends although one way or another she makes another bad mistake or something else bad happens.

AND to all those New York girls out there.. It's a series, mostly about real life experiences from Lena Dunham, I repeat from Lena Dunham  NOT YOURS. So I hope this makes you feel better: Nobody or at least I don't think Dunham's/ Hannah's life is the same as yours. ( couldn't find the actual article to link it)

And YES I recommend this series!
Have you seen it? What are your thoughts?
