A Moment of No Contrite

Deserted, she was in the middle of the road. It was an unknown road, without anyone she could implore to get her out of her current dark state.

Her soul and energy were languished away. She could not get ahold of life, but she gripped tightly onto her hollownes.

She gasped when she saw a light. An exhorted feeling filled her soul to keep walking. She saw many signs, wavering lights and foliage coming her way with a strong wind.

She hesitated for a second, even when she somehow knew one light would only appear one time. She forced her eyes to look deeper in the light. The wind became stronger. Unknowingly, she was lifted.
Later that same day, when the breath of life surrounded her, she thought of how amazing she felt. It was a moment of consent, where she didn’t patronize herself but yet a moment where she lifted herself and exerted herself.
It was a moment that she couldn’t belay, a moment of no contrite.
